The Timing
The Brisbane construction team is growing and this appointment is about building local depth. The team currently draws on national resources and is looking for someone on the ground in Brisbane who can contribute across front-end and back-end work from day one. The right level is open and the right fit matters more than years of experience.
The Work Itself
Front-end advisory across contract drafting, procurement and project delivery alongside back-end disputes work spanning adjudications, QBCC hearings and court proceedings. Acting for developers, builders, engineers, subcontractors and government clients on multimillion-dollar residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. Close collaboration with the property and banking teams across integrated matters. The team is led by two experienced construction partners, one focused on disputes and one on front-end advisory, supported by a senior special counsel and a strong commitment to hands-on training and mentorship. Litigators looking to specialise in construction are genuinely welcomed.
