The Timing
This close-knit, high-performing team is led by two experienced partners with an excellent private client base and a strong pipeline of complex corporate work. The team is at an inflection point, growing both in size and ambition, and needs a senior lawyer who can genuinely share the load: running matters with autonomy, mentoring more junior members, and becoming a trusted face for clients.
The Work Itself
You will be advising founders, family business owners and high net worth individuals at the moments that matter most: structuring a business for growth, navigating a sale they have spent years working toward, resolving shareholder dynamics before they become disputes, or thinking through what the business looks like in the next generation. The advice is commercial, the clients are sophisticated, and the relationships are long-term.
Across that client base, ranging from private SMEs to near-ASX scale companies, you will work across M&A and business sales, corporate structuring for companies and holding entities, private capital raising, shareholder agreements, commercial and supplier agreements, family trusts, intergenerational transfers and succession. You will collaborate closely with partners and across practice groups nationally, contributing to advice that is integrated and genuinely useful to the people receiving it.

Sound Like You?
A corporate or commercial lawyer with a minimum 4 years PAE and experience in business advisory, private clients or corporate practice. You bring strong drafting skills, genuine commercial instincts and the ability to give clear, practical advice to sophisticated clients. Curious, driven and easy to work with. Exposure to high ABH environments and a track record in BD and relationship management will set you apart.
