The Timing
The Brisbane team, led by two well-regarded principals, is looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to step in and take ownership of complex files. Both principals are known for genuinely investing in their team's career progression, which makes this a strong moment to join and build out your practice within an established and well-regarded group.
The Work Itself
You'll be working across a varied mix of files for some of the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas. One matter might involve a complex public liability claim with significant personal injury exposure; another, a property damage claim requiring careful investigation and strategy; another still, general insurance work spanning different policy types and industries. Alongside the technical work, you'll have genuine scope to shape the next generation of practitioners, sharing the kind of practical knowledge that only comes from experience.

Sound Like You?
You'll have 5+ years PAE with strong experience in defendant insurance, ideally with a public liability focus. You can manage complex files independently, build strong client relationships, and communicate clearly and pragmatically. Beyond the technical side, you bring genuine enthusiasm to the work and an approach that clients and colleagues find easy to engage with.
