The Firm
A large national commercial firm with a strong Brisbane presence, acting across the full range of planning and environment work for private developers, local councils, and state and federal government. The team carries genuine market recognition, led by two senior lawyers whose credentials in this space are well known.
The Timing
The team is small and close-knit, and that's intentional. You'll join at a point where there's genuine room to grow, with support at both a senior and junior level.
The Work Itself
The matters span the full breadth of the practice. One file might involve statutory planning advice for a government authority; another, infrastructure agreement negotiations or drafting planning instruments. Renewables, extractive industry, cultural heritage, development strategy — the work moves across all of it. Disputes are part of the mix, and Court work comes with the role.
