Your New role 
Joining as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you’ll have a front-row seat to high-profile matters, engaging in a diverse mix of advisory, transactional, and contentious work. You’ll be supported by down-to-earth partners who are invested in your development and trusted to run matters with autonomy.

You can expect to be involved in:  

  • Representing employers in employment-related disputes—unfair dismissal, discrimination, general protections and more
  • Advising on employment contracts, executive arrangements, workplace policies, and compliance strategies
  • Running matters in tribunals, state and federal courts, and engaging in mediation and conciliation
  • Delivering client training sessions and building relationships through BD initiatives
  • Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to internal knowledge and learning framework

Your Skills Profile
  • 7+ years PAE in a well-regarded firm in their employment and workplace safety team;
  • Exceptional technical abilities and be commercially minded.
  • Practical and proactive approach with strong problem solving skills;
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and contribute to business growth through proactive engagement and strategic BD initiatives;
  • Excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills; and
  • Experienced in guiding and developing junior team members, with a hands-on approach to mentoring and supervision.
