Your New Organisation  
Our client is one of the state’s largest community legal services with over 70 permanent employees and circa 200 volunteers who passionately support everything the organisation stands for.

Your New Role
There are four key positions available across multiple sites, offering the chance to combine a career move with lifestyle benefits while contributing meaningfully to the community:

  • Casework Solicitor (Annerley)  – Provide advice, advocacy, and representation to clients in family law, domestic violence, and child protection, working directly on complex and meaningful matters.
  • Supervising Solicitor – Lead and mentor a passionate team of lawyers and support staff, managing caseloads and providing guidance while also maintaining your own practice.
  • Family Lawyer (Domestic Violence/Migration)   (Brisbane City) – Deliver vital legal services to clients experiencing family violence, with the opportunity to also advise and represent clients in migration-related matters.
  • Family Lawyer – RRR Team (Remote, Regional, and Rural) – Be part of a team dedicated to increasing access to justice for clients in remote, regional, and rural communities, combining case work, outreach, and advocacy.
Across all roles, you will be part of a supportive and mission-driven workplace where your expertise will make a tangible difference in the lives of women and families. You will engage in direct client services, provide case work and representation, and where applicable, appear in court to advocate on behalf of clients.

Please note: Opportunities are available across multiple sites, including Gold Coast, Brisbane City, and Annerley.

Your Skills Profile  
  • 3-5+ Years PAE with a background in family law (experience in family law and domestic violence is a requirement);
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising a team of professional and administrative staff (for supervising position only);
  • Experience in Community Legal Centres will be highly favoured;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds; and
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed relationship management skills.
